  • 「社会体験皆無であっても」は even though we have no experience of society と譲歩を明示します
  • 「人生がわかる」を understand what life is like と what 節に開きます
  • not always as moving as ...

そこで前半を When we become familiar ...、後半を Once we enter society ... 「人生」の中身は what life is like、「体験すること」は what we actually experience と節に開きます。

When, at a young age, we become familiar with what many poems and novels say about life, we may feel that we somehow understand what life is like even though we have no experience of life in society. Once we enter society, however, we are often disappointed because what we actually experience is not always as moving as what we have read in novels.

別解

Young people who read many poems and novels may come to believe that they know how life works, even when they have never lived in the wider world. When they finally enter society, they often feel disappointed and lose that belief, since what happens to them is not always as deeply moving as what happens in a novel.

Young, we become familiar with many poems and novels.
We become familiar with many poems and novels while we are young.

なれ親しむを get used to reading にする

We get used to reading many poems and novels when we are young.
We become familiar with many poems and novels when we are young.

We have no social experiences.
We have no experience of life in society.

We feel we understand life because we have no experience of society.
We feel we understand life even though we have no experience of society.

We understand what life is like even without experience.
We may feel that we somehow understand what life is like.

If we enter society, we may be disappointed.
Once we enter society, we may be disappointed.

Once we enter the society, we see reality.
Once we enter society, we see reality.

What we experience is completely not moving like a novel.
What we experience is not always as moving as what happens in a novel.

Our experiences are not always as moving as a novel.
Our experiences are not always as moving as what happens in a novel.

Our experiences are disappointed.
We are often disappointed by what we experience.

We lose an illusion when real life is ordinary.
We lose the belief that we already understand life.

Young people become familiar to many poems and novels.
Young people become familiar with many poems and novels.

When, at a young age, we become familiar with what many poems and novels say about life, we may feel that we somehow understand what life is like even though we have no experience of life in society. Once we enter society, however, we are often disappointed because what we actually experience is not always as moving as what we have read in novels.

実測は how 0、what 4です。what many poems and novels say が作品の語る内容、what life is like が「人生とはどのようなものか」、what we actually experience が現実の体験、what we have read が小説で読んだ内容を担当します。

Young people who read many poems and novels may come to believe that they know how life works, even when they have never lived in the wider world. When they finally enter society, they often feel disappointed and lose that belief, since what happens to them is not always as deeply moving as what happens in a novel.

こちらは「社会体験皆無」を have never lived in the wider world と説明し、「幻滅」を lose that belief と分かったつもりが崩れる動きで示しました。 また what happens to them と what happens in a novel を同じ形にそろえ、現実の出来事と作品内の出来事を公平に比べています。
